ENGT 1514 Computer Integrated Manufacturing (PLTW)™ (3 cr)

Prereq: MATH 0700 (or placement in MATH 1100); Eligible for ENGC 1101 or READ 1106; ENGT 1511.

Computer Integrated Manufacturing builds on computer solid modeling skills developed in Introduction to Engineering Design (ENGT 1511), a Project Lead the Way (PLTW tm) course taught in high schools. Students use Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment to produce actual models of their three-dimensional designs. Fundamental concepts of robotics used in automated manufacturing and design analysis are included.
