Office for Students with Disabilities

Students with documented disabilities may be eligible to receive reasonable accommodations through the Office for Students with Disabilities. Disabilities accommodated include but are not limited to learning disabilities, vision and hearing losses, physical and psychological disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, Aspergers/autism and attention deficit disorders. Accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis and may include alternative testing, note taking/lecture notes, interpreters, assistive listening devices, assistive technology, audio books and other reasonable accommodations. In order to register for the program, students must meet with the Director, Debbie Tillman, and make an appointment for an intake/interview by calling 952-358-8623 or 8625 (voice); 952-358-8620 (TTY); or by emailing osd@normandale.edu. Early application is essential for timely implementation of accommodations.
